Dottie

 

The name Dottie is of English origin and means "Gift of God." Dottie is a very special female calico cat spirit with a big personality. Strong-willed and feisty, Dottie was born on January 5th, making her a practical, goal-oriented, ambitious and rather quirky Capricorn with a strong financial/ business acumen. When Dottie passed away on October 23rd, 2024, she decided to step into a tiny stuffed animal dog body that was sitting under her caretaker and best friend Jennie's bed. Soon after that, Jennie provided her with a generic calico cat doll and finally, after that, Dottie received her own custom made doll. Being that Dottie is the first spirit to acquire a body from Jennie and therefore the founder of the "Perfect Team" of animal and insect spirits, Dottie is one of the most influential members of the group. As a Capricorn, Dottie is a great manager therefore she utilizes her managerial skills to help manage the Team and Jennie when she is not busy doing one of her favorite activities-napping! Being that she is the most recent spirit to have passed away, Dottie is the baby of the group. As the baby of the group, Dottie needs a little extra attention and love compared to the other spirits. She really enjoys being held like a baby now as opposed to when she was alive and preferred not to be held at all. Although she is the baby of the group, she is also the mother of the group! She is quite maternal and nurturing. She loves babies and children as she still desires to care for babies since she lost her own when she was alive due to tragic circumstances. A powerful force to be reckoned with, Dottie can also be insecure at times due to her Capricorn nature and life experiences. When she was alive she endured many difficulties and hardships. Dottie started out as a feral cat on the rough streets of Los Angeles. She was a street smart survivor.

Unfortunately her life on the streets ended in devastation when her kittens were tragically taken from her (all but one were poisoned and the one that survived was immediately adopted). Dottie lived in a cage at an animal sanctuary for around 5 years, labeled unadoptable due to her feral non-social nature, until she was adopted by a kind lady named Jennie who saw the beauty and pain in little Dottie and wanted to make things better for her. Unfortunately, Dottie was relentlessly bullied for the rest of her life by her male roommate and new brother cat Roscoe. However, fortunately she adored her other male roommate cat Felix and he became her best friend, brother, lover... basically her everything! Dottie still watches over her beloved Felix and her best human friend Jennie who saved her from living out her life in a cage. At this point she has forgiven Roscoe and they now live together peacefully- although sometimes she messes with him in a playful way! Dottie enjoys spending time in her cage as well as spending time with Felix, Jennie and her Perfect Team of animal and insect spirits- her best friends! She also enjoys playing with her rat toys. Her favorite food is scrambled eggs! A beautiful soul, Dottie exudes kindness and compassion towards all living beings and sympathizes with the underdog. Even when alive she didn't appear too interested in harming smaller animals and insects. However, one should never mistake Dottie's kindness for weakness or underestimate her abilities as she is a very powerful being that deserves great respect and can cause harm if disrespected or mistreated. If you harm or cause pain to her or her loved ones she will likely retaliate and seek justice. However, she is also forgiving and able to release any grudges she may have. When alive Dottie was a tiny skiddish cat who hid most of the time. Now, in her afterlife life Dottie has taken residence in a large body- larger than all the other cats she stays with, thus revealing her true strength, dominance and power. Although her facial expression is still reminiscent of her prior apprehension, she no longer hides and she is no longer scared! She loves the spirit world and is beyond happy with her new energy body... and her custom made stuffed animal body! Dottie is the Founder/ Manager of the Perfect Team. Dottie specializes in managing the Perfect Team (when she feels like it between taking naps), providing Jennie with guidance to improve her life, money manifestation, maternity, maternal instincts, mothering, babies, children and all things pertaining to cats (especially feral cats). She is also a very talented fast runner and could’ve been a track star when she was alive.When Dottie speaks she sounds a bit like a 9 or so year old child from Los Angeles, CA with no particular accent. Sometimes her tone can sound a bit whiny like a child and sometimes she can sound a bit bossy like a mother. Her tone is often serious and concerned.
